Chris Robbins, Acting Associate Assistant Administrator

Chris Robbins has been with the US EPA for over 20 years working in various organizations, primarily in Washington DC and Research Triangle Park. Chris just recently completed a detail as the Acting Deputy Director of the Office of Administrative and Research Support.  His permanent position is Deputy Director of ORD’s Office of Science Information Management (OSIM).  

Prior to that Chris was ORD’s Chief Technology Officer for ORD, where he had responsibility for leading several large scale enterprise technology projects.  Chris has also held several management positions in the Office of Environmental Information focusing primarily on resource management and customer service, especially in the Working Capital Fund. Before that, Chris spent 10 years in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer where he managed the Agency’s budget formulation process and worked closely with the Agency’s resource management community.  Chris graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the American University in Washington, DC.
